Call for the inclusion of Culture in the UN Sustainable Development Goals post 2015

The word ‘Culture’ was completely absent from the ‘Millennium Development Goals’ adopted by the UN in 2000.

The International Federation of Coalitions for Cultural Diversity together with six other international organizations therefore decided to launch a campaign calling on governments and political leaders who set the agenda for the UN Sustainable Development Goals post 2015 to ensure Culture is part of the goals to be reached.
